Carol Thornton
Set Medic, Construction Medic
Carol began her career in Health Care when she attended the NM School of Natural Therapeutics in 1981. After 8 years of working for the “Herb Store” and as a self employed Massage Therapist, she decided she should learn more about emergency situations. The original plan was to be well prepared for her move and living in rural NM. She became an EMT Basic and was hired at Albuquerque Ambulance in 1989. Deciding to continue in the emergency medical field, she became a Paramedic in 1992 and Emergency Medical Dispatcher in 1994. The move to a rural lifestyle never happened (although she does have ducks in her backyard) and she is still employed with AAS as a member of the management team. Carol’s interest in film productions and as a Set Medic began when her son was cast in several films beginning in 2004. She was born and raised in Albuquerque, dreams of travel, but feels she would never move away from the Land of Enchantment. Her words to live by- “You Just Never Know”.

His favorite part about being an EMT is that he is able to help people in crisis situations.
